Stanley Gibbons Baldwin's is delighted to announce an exclusive TCG auction in London on 28th May 2025. This highly anticipated event is set to be a major highlight for collectors around the world, featuring, as it does, an incredible selection of rare and iconic MTG cards.
One of the headline items is a 1993 International Collector's Edition, a remarkable piece of TCG history estimated to achieve between £5,000 and £8,000. This edition is an iconic treasure from the vault of a long-time magic collector. While it has been opened, it was not subsequently played or displayed; as such, the edition is fully complete and in near mint condition.
Another showstopper is the highly coveted Black Lotus from the Unlimited series, undoubtedly the most famous Magic: The Gathering card ever produced. Estimated between £6,500 and £7,500, this iconic card is expected to generate significant interest among collectors and investors.
The auction will also feature an extraordinary Arabian Nights Complete Master Set (78/78 cards + 14 variations) from the very first expansion of Magic: The Gathering, Arabian Nights from 1993, which includes all light and dark print cards. With an estimated value between £11,000 and £13,000, this complete set is sure to witness fierce bidding.
Lots 7-15 offer MTG collectors the chance to acquire the legendary "Power 9" cards, considered the most powerful and iconic in Magic: The Gathering’s history.
