This past weekend, Stanley Gibbons Baldwin’s (SGB) delivered three electrifying auction events at Card Con 2025, cementing their place at the heart of the UK’s Pokémon TCG community. Taking place on March 29–30 at the Farnborough International Exhibition Centre, the event drew thousands of collectors, investors, and TCG fans from across the country and SGB’s auctions were front and centre of the action.
The energy was palpable on Saturday afternoon as PokiChloe and World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall took to the main stage for the highly anticipated Team Rocket Unlimited Box Break. With 33 packs available in the auction by SGB ahead of the event, lucky bidders could watch in anticipation as their lot was called out and each pack was opened live on stage.
The crowd erupted early when a Dark Charizard Rare Holo was pulled in just the second pack, sending the room into a frenzy. With every chase card receiving free CGC grading, this wasn’t just entertainment, it was an opportunity to acquire investment pieces.
The auction room (and online platform) buzzed with competitive bidding and some remarkable results. From sealed Base Set packs to legendary Gold Stars and Reverse Holos, every lot brought something special to the table.
