The star of the show was Lot 21—a 2005 ex Delta Species sealed Booster Box—which wowed collectors and sold for an impressive £32,400 including fees. The buzz around this exceptional lot was well deserved, as the seller, a former toy shop owner, preserved it in flawless condition and chose the perfect moment to bring it to market.
Another consignor left the sale smiling, after Lot 20—the ever-popular Jungle Unlimited Booster Box (sealed) from 1999—achieved a fantastic £6,000 including fees. As the iconic second release in the Pokémon TCG, the Jungle set still captivates collectors and investors alike. What made this win even more special? Despite a few paint splatters from years in storage, this nostalgic box was a hidden gem—rediscovered at the back of an old lock-up. Adding in several smaller finds from the same stash, the consignor’s total soared to nearly £10,000—a wonderful reward for items that could have been overlooked or tossed away.
The excitement continued with Lot 96: the Unified Minds Master Set, a remarkable collection of 454 cards from 2019 that beat expectations, selling for £2,640 including fees. This crowd-pleasing set included every card—standard prints, full arts, hyper rares, reverse holos, every ‘Yellow A Alternative’ edition, Theme Deck exclusives, Battle Academy stamped cards, and four prized pre-release promos (Amoonguss, Tapu Fini, Necrozma, Terrakion).
