Over recent months, SGB has had the great pleasure of dealing with some fascinating items from the region of Surrey, including this undated Guildford halfpenny, which features on one side the Bishop Blaze, the patron saint of woolcombers, and a woolpack, and on the reverse the arms of the town. This item sold for £132 (including fees) when it went to auction in October.
